Safe travels!! If you scoot across on I-40 then up I-55 to I-57 stop at Boomland - they have the cheapest gas/diesel in the area and it's about 12 miles from crossing the big Muddy into Illinois. If you stop there, you have to go inside and look at the different "canned" (glass jars) goods and their hot sauce selection. I was there yesterday. Left here at 3pm, got back home at 7:40 pm. the next day. 1360 miles. I had to laugh the first time I saw that place. Gas station with USTs, AST tank farm next door, and fireworks store. One day it just may live up to its name.🎆

I created a FB profile for my dog when my daughter went to Basic Training. The unit would make posts about their training progress. It was the only way to keep up with what they were doing.

I'm hoping there is more to the story.

My Dad used to always talk about taking Mom to get steak and onions. I.e.-White Castle. 🙂

I didn't mind when the 2021 law was changed. IMO, class I shouldn't need a permit. I was in charge of maintaining a wetland for 5 years that my company was required to build due to a new building we built. The new wetland was twice the size of the old one, which only existed because a clay tile had collapsed and allowed water to pool there. It had only held water off and on for the last few years. Why was the area tiled in the first place?

I think KY has a season, too.

I didn't put much stock on Phil's prediction until I saw the Sandhills flying north on the same day. I think he might be onto something this year.

I went to the link, but after reading the comments, I decided I wasn't going to click the link and send any $ his way for being stupid.

I guess I'm just an equal opportunity offender. 🤷♂️

I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with daylight savings time on my sundial.

Absess. I shot a buck a few years ago that had one a little bigger than the size of a softball. It was full of puss. The rib meat got thrown away from him.

I was to make an offer, until I got to this part:
"More than 800 acres are enclosed within a 10-foot-tall game fence, which houses an estimated 115 bucks. ... The property has been involved in a breeding system for the last decade to enhance the genetics of its deer population, with five breeder pens on site of varying sizes. ... The listing indicates that $400,000 worth of deer were released onto the property just last year.
"The wildlife habitat is extremely well managed, with a rotating control burn schedule and a year-round feeding program, supported by a 7-ton and a 20-ton silo," the listing states.""

I lost my dad almost 2 years ago. His headstone was just erected this month. Enjoy your time with him as long as you can.

I worked for IDEM for 15 years. Another guy and myself always said we we were going to coast into retirement the last couple of years as gate guards at a state park for DNR. But I got tired of the political BS and a few people appointed to positions they weren't qualified for and I went back to the private sector. I'm now doing environmental emergency response - trainwrecks, explosions, and pipeline leaks!

My brother bought a gun safe from I believe TSC. When he got it home he discovered the code was locked inside the safe. He called the manufacturer and they gave him the generic code that opens all their safes and apologized. 😳 “Opens All their safes”? Wow ! I would not think they would want that information out. Maybe they gave him the number sequence for his safe so he could open it and only it. Nope. His code was locked inside and it was different than the universal code.

I would've guessed TX for total number, and PA for density
