I have been looking at the same thing, but thinking more like 40 acres. I have 22 acres in Evansville but it is bow only, and not very good for turkey. I would stick to anywhere near the rivers. Land seems to be more reasonably priced but you do deal with flooding and access issues. Good luck and let me know if you run across a smaller track! Seems like some good deals near Griffin from time to time.

I have an extra steady eddy pole for ten point and wicked ridge crossbows If any near the Evansville area is interested let me know. I also have a wicked ridge Invader hp that I no longer use. New string this year. I removed the acu draw system because previous owner messed it up. I used the extra rope cocker I had from my ten point. It comes with the factory ten point scope, quiver, and a soft crossbow case. Good starter crossbow. Crossbow 300 and steady eddy 40. Let me know if interested. I don't post a lot so email works best apoole@qrlcares.com. North side of Evansville

Do you need to buy another urban (I know not official name) tag if you have already tagged a doe and plan on tagging your urban buck.

Just wanted to verify that you do not have to plug your shotgun for Turkey Hunting in Indiana. I have heard that you have to, but can't find it anywhere in the regulations. The only place I find it is under migratory birds. Thanks

Nothing wrong with the state ground. There are lots of good spots around here, but I am taking my young sons out with me. Just trying to avoid any issues while they are with me. Unfortunatley, there are a few bad apples running around on some of the local state areas.

New to the board, but thought I would see if anyone knew of a farmer or landowner that would be willing to look at a long term lease in one of the counties surrounding Evansville, IN. There is a group of about 5 of us (includes some of our boys) that are looking for deer and turkey hunting. We have had some bad luck with previous leased land changing hands. Unfortunately looks like hunting on state ground this year. Just thought I would see if anyone knows of any opportunities. Thanks for any info you can share.
