Don't do what I did and accidentally bump off the emergency kill switch.

I like the limb strutting pose. Great bird.

The best medicine is to look till your exhausted, then look some more. Deer can surive a lot of wounds. My buddy found a healed over broadhead in a buck this year. Somebody hit a little too high, it happens.

I don't have a problem taking does with fawns. Most does I see are in groups unless a buck is chasing them. If you do take a doe with a fawn, the young one will often hang around the dead deer and give you a clue where it died.

I like a deer drive for a change of pace later in the season. I prefer smaller ones with 2-3 guys. Its a great way to learn how deer react to hunters entering the woods and how to play the wind.

If it is not placed on your property then it is not in your "hunting area" IMO.

I carry a handgun while fishing at night and I have a permit. Question is, do you need to announce this to a CO when having your fishing license checked? Thanks.

If you are fishing from an anchored boat in public water, is the "driver" subject to OWI if they exceed the . 08 limit, even though your anchored? How about if they are still under the legal limit, does an open container law apply then? Thanks.

I killed a buck the last weekend of muzzleloader this year that had been wounded in the front shoulder sometime before. It acted normal while it was standing. While dressing and dragging it, yellow pus oozed out of the old wound. I butchered it myself. The meat all smelled normal (I avoided the shoulder) but there was very little body fat. Is this deer safe to eat?
