I think it is only fair and reasonable that Indiana offer for sale a $24 "either sex" tag that is good for the entire year regardless of weapon used. If someone shoots a doe, then you may still purchase another tag since there is a 4 antlerless deer limit in Indiana. But once you kill a buck you're done shooting bucks for the year. Records at the check in stations will keep you honest. I think more people will buy licenses this way. Or you should be able to buy a $100 all inclusive annual license that would include turkey tags too. IMHO

Let's say I shoot a buck the first day of archery season are you telling me then if I see another "large" buck during muzzleloader season that I can't shoot it? First of all I think deer license should be sold as they were before...were you could shoot a buck during each season if you prefer to do that.Like myself for example I've been deer hunting for almost 50 years and I think that if a person hunts bucks only like myself and others that I know the we should be allowed to buck hunt only if that what we want to do..one each season if you choose to do so.

People with Lifetime licenses (myself included) can take a truck load of deer every year. The State should eliminate the Deer Tags from the Lifetime Hunting licenses. IMHO Deer & Turkey should be seperate and everyone should be required to buy one, even landowners. The State made a tragic mistake when they issued these "liberalized" Hunting Licenses. I look to see the State resend that part of the LT License retaining only the Small Game portion. Just makes prudent sense.
