Its on now. Will be my 4th time tomorrow. This should have been my second or third time. I put it off for as long as I could. One of the dogs started peeing on the stone walkway instead of fighting the tall grass.

I’m still holding off. Will be getting back from Florida tomorrow. I’m sure it’s getting pretty dang tall after all the rain. Didn’t get a drop of rain for the week we’ve been here. Been amazing.

My grass just started to get nice and green I’d say two weeks maybe three before I start this week with the warm temps might pick it up faster

I've cut all but one week since the end of February. Probably three cuts ahead of normal. Darn weeds are early as well.

Mowed mine here in New Castle Thursday. Wouldn't it be great if veggie plants were as tenacious as these weeds?

Hit the high spots last week to help the wife's dog. Mowed the weeds this weekend. Lots of trees so I don't get a great lush lawn. Pretty much only mow the weeds and a few select spots. During July- October I can mow every other week depending on rain.

The neighbors are moving. They have a Cub Cadet zero turn that they bought last year and are selling it. It's got 18 hours on it and they are asking $4,000.00. www.cubcadet.com/en_US/zero-turn-mowers/zt2-54/17AIEAC3A10.htmlIf anybody is interested, PM me and I'll send you their phone number. If you don't have a trailer to move it, I have a 12' long aluminum one that would work.

I've been getting by for way too long with two old Craftsman riding mowers, cobbled together with interchanged parts, welded multiple times, and missing pieces here and there. I'm the only person who knows their quirks enough to get them started and safely use them.
One of those mowers threw a rod through the block Saturday. Was still running smooth, I just looked down and there was oil spraying out everywhere. I cleaned it up and found where the engine internals had become the externals, started it and rode it to the barn. It drove right in there no problem.
So now I am down to just one sketchy mower. I bit the bullet and ordered a Husqvarna 354XD while ago. Not a real compact tractor, but a bit more heavy duty than most of the big box store mowers and has a Kawasaki engine.
Tractor Supply had 0% financing, so I went that route.
I intend to use my remaining old Craftsman to mow the trails and keep the new mower in the yard as long as possible.

Btdt. I really bit the bullet and got a kubota fel with belly mower. It was 5ys 0 interest. Been a good purchase. Stepping from the buy it used, break it down, fix it up stage you will be glad you have your new mower.
