Well, weather for Sunday looks bad, and the boat captain called today to tell my customer so. He said if we wanted to go on Sunday he would give it a shot, but weather was not going to be good. However, as luck would have it, the captain said he had a last minute cancellation and he had an opening for tomorrow morning. It's going to be almost perfect weather. 80° for a high, mostly sunny, 7% chance of rain, and calm winds out of the south. Wish me luck. I'm going to have some fun tomorrow. PHOTOS PHOTOS PHOTOS..

Been in waves on Michigan where you see only water at eye level. Waves were massive. Guys were puking in the head and on the table. Caught fish if you could make it to the pole. Couldn’t stand up. Storm went by, it was like glass and no more bites. Like being in a washing machine. I was on the Pacific Ocean, fishing out of Oceanside, CA (Red Rooster III)and we were down by Guadalupe Island off the coast of Mexico. Captain said guys if you are hungry and want a hot meal, you better eat tonight. It will be a rough ride back tomorrow and I don't think she will be able to cook - it will be sandwiches. He wasn't kidding. I was up in the wheel house with him, maybe 15'-20' off of the waterline. We'd go down in a trough and we'd be looking up at the wave breaking before we hit it. The galley was a mess. The hotplate broke free, sliding and started a small fire. The cook slipped and broke a finger. The refrigerator looked like someone threw a hand grenade in it and slammed the door - ALL the shelves and food were on the bottom in one pile. A 1 day boat ride home took 2 days due to the North Wind and the waves. It took us 20 hours to go from San Diego to Oceanside....

I don't know why but I can't upload pictures It says files are too big. We ended up catching a bunch of lake trout. All charter guests tagged out on trout.
Didn't weigh them all but at least one of mine weighed 14#. I brought home roughly 30# of trout!

How big was the boat? We live for details and stories. Boat was very small. I'd say no more than 30' long. 4 fishing and 2 crew

I had a customer come yesterday and he picked up 4,500 5"-7" Yellow Perch and dropped off a bag of Morels at the same time. I agree, some customers are the best!
