I apologize for updating you guys last... been a very busy time just now trying to get everyone up to speed.
Tammy came through the surgery well. The ace surgeon was able to get out 95% of the tumor in his estimation. I thank God for putting this guy in our path as the first two wouldn't even attempt to go after the tumor!
From now on it will just be a day at a time and enjoy what we have.
Glioblastoma is horrible. If anyone you love starts acting different, get them checked out immediately! Our experiences post-leukemia fooled us into thinking this was just another reaction to something she was getting monthly to keep her immune system in top shape. It seemed to get better over a couple days and then the wheels fell off.

Hey bud...never apologize to us. Unless you stole my hunting or fishing spot. Anything outside of that and especially your current issue we only want the best for you and your family.
Glad you got the right doc. We are all still keeping you in out thoughts and prayers. Hang in there. Sounds like you have been down the road a ways before. Nothing like a branch in the road to test your will.
If you need a day or an hour to blow off steam to someone not in the trenches with you I can meet you where ever. We can go fish, shoot, drive or throw rocks.
Hang in there for your wife and daughter.

Glad things went well and as Duff said there’s no need to apologize here. I would expect friends and family to get updated well before this website. Just stay strong for those around you.

Much appreciated fellas!
Not much to report.
As we expected, it's taking her longer to "come out of it" than it did with the biopsy. I'm getting ready to get kicked out again at the end of visitation time. She did open her eyes a bit more a little while ago, but back to sleeping again. I expect she'll be coming around a lot more tomorrow. Surgeon was in again and said that he is happy with what progress he sees.
Just one day at a time.
Hug your loved ones and tell them how special they are!
Thanks brothers!

Sounds like progress is being made.
Back in 2018 my wife was in the hospital for 6 weeks and one day. Started out with an obstructed bowel and that was surgically repaired at 4am. Of course I prayed to God for her healing. It seemed that instead of getting better she had numerous other problems. Was God abandoning her and not listening to my prayers?
I finally came to the realization that God would move in His own time, not mine. It took some reflection and humbling myself before Him. In the fifth week As I sat at my table drinking my morning coffee I lost it. I bawled my eyes out asking God for forgiveness for continually asking Him to heal my wife and for my doubts.
I finally did what was unthinkable to me before - I gave it all to Him with a “Thy will be done”. Peace came over me then.
Jason, You HAVE to take care of yourself too. She depends on you.
After another week my wife came home for good. The lesson learned is that God’s time is not the same as my time.
Prayers continuing for you guys.

That’s just fine Omegahunter, pray that your Wife will be healed, and never fear that you can ask too much from God! Like Woody talked about, you can NEVER pray too much, even if it is the same prayer. Just think where you were a week or so ago, and where you are now. Prayer does work!

Pray the healing continues and you stay strong in support and that she keeps getting better and stronger every minute of every day. God Bless

Omegahunter, as you know one of the great mysteries is about why or why not prayer "works" or does not work, and why one recovers and another does not. All we can do is ask.
I can tell you I have seen or heard examples where there can be no other explanation besides answered prayer. I knew of a woman named Vossmeyer who fell--ironically enough-- taking a covered dish into a church function. She cracked her head so hard that her brain was actually exposed. Though the prognosis was essentially "game over," a group that included my own brother prayed for her at the hospital ( while the doctor made no secret of his disdain for such superstition). She recovered to where all she had was a limp or something and died much later of old age. Another friend of the same brother was diagnosed with a deadly brain tumor and given at most months to live. While he did eventually succumb, it was many good years later. He was a dear friend, and last season we gutted a buck with a knife he gave my brother.
I absolutely believe that God can and does answer prayer, and why sometimes and sometimes not when all else is equal no man can know. I know that I took my Bible in hand and prayed that if healing can come for your wife that it WILL, in Jesus' name.

I'm going to admit that I'm not very religious. But I absolutely do believe in God, and do bow my head and say prayers once in awhile. I hope HE can understand and work with me on this when I ask for help.
