My son brought the Mission bow back just to keep it here. My shoulder is a lot better and going to see if I can hold the bow for 45 seconds @ 50 lbs. very still. If so, I will be using both. All depends on the weather with arthritis which one I choice. I've been taking a CBD oil supplement that helps a lot on my joints. Taking bee stings also helps with the pain. I've been trying to teach the bees to sting me in the joints.

I started with a recurve bow went to a very basic compound bow just a string a cable and two pulleys never went with the modern compound bow and now it’s crossbow only.

I'm surprised that the survey is nearly evenly split. Probably 80% of the bowhunters I know dropped the compound, or were originally gun-only hunters.

I had to stop shooting my PSE Stinger it's getting as old as I feel, looking like it too. So I picked up a BearX Saga405 for last season. It wasn't a good season last year, too many off from work from covid shutdown. I'm going to try to make it work for the first time this season.

I'm not a big crossbow fan but I have RA in my shoulders and target panic panic with a bow so it's crossbow or nothing.
