UPDATE-During Thursday’s incident, the suspect, Brandon Hole, was witnessed using assault rifles in the assault. ATF conducted a trace on the two weapons. IMPD learned that Brandon Hole purchased the rifles legally in July and September of 2020. per IMPD ..... Interesting. Usually the media is all over it when an assault rifle is used.

The timeframe he bought the guns they were hard to find and not cheap! Interesting is right..wonder what guns they actually are.

Yes, they won't talk about how the laws that are already in place failed.

I wondered the same thing... The thing I found interesting about the article was this. Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said if they had invoked the red flag law and lost, they would have had to return the gun to Hole, and “that's not something we were willing to do.”
www.in.gov/isp/3484.htmFrom ISP Indiana Jack Laird law (Red Flag Law)... So instead of the Prosecutor trying that and (if successful) sending it to the FBI as NICS disqualifier, Hole was able to legally purchase two more firearms that he then used to kill 8 innocent people. Would that have stopped this nut? Maybe, maybe not. Is it a fair question to ask the Prosecutor? That's tough to answer, but I would imagine that there are 8 families who wish that he (the Prosecutor) had tried.

By not trying him the prosecutor keeps the shotgun out of the perp’s hands but opens the door to other gun purchases? Makes sense . NOT.
