I weld them leaf springs brackets with a 7018 rod or a high heat mig probably do multiple passes also. I don't have the equipment for that. All I have is a flux core wire welder. That will work.

Yeah... a mig welder is a flux core wire welder. Don’t be afraid to turn the voltage up! I know all about welding. I took a spread 9 and built a 6 axel sled for a guy.

That technology has came a long ways for sure.I can remember gas[Torch] welding when Tig and mig welding was not so common..... crazy how not many folks will braze anything anymore.

I actually like to braze stuff. Its hard to find good coat hangers anymore though.

How expensive is it? I forget what it cost but they will be really heavy. Got to wrestle them on and off but it will help keep it from tipping over easy. I had my dads front tires on his farmall 656 filled. Was always getting flats at the worst possible times.

Yeah... a mig welder is a flux core wire welder. Don’t be afraid to turn the voltage up! I had my little welder maxed out on the voltage. I tripped the breaker in my garage a few times. I took 1 semester of welding in high school. All we had were stick welders and very little steel to use. We spent most of the time in the classroom goofing off. I've been wire welding for a few years now. I watched some YouTube videos and learned as I went. This is the 3rd trailer I've modified. The other two were my camper and my log arch trailer. So far both of those are still holding.

These tires are small and shouldn't be too hard to put back on if I get them filled. We talked about getting the tires on our tractor filled with something to add weight.

How expensive is it? Most major tire shops can or know who does it... the prices very with the tire size. They have some do it yourself kits also I believe!

They go down the road a little better than sodium filled and don't eat your rims up when they leak .lol

That technology has came a long ways for sure.I can remember gas[Torch] welding when Tig and mig welding was not so common..... crazy how not many folks will braze anything anymore. When I was a kid, Dad needed my help in the garage one winter to build a boat hoist for the speedboat. He used coathangers and brazed/welded it together. Both he and I were sick as dogs the next day. It wasn't until about 20 years later that I learned about metal poisoning - we were welding 2" galvanized pipe..... I learned to stick weld by having the instructor have us beat the flux off of the rods and we couldn't use a flux coated rod until we could strike an arc with the bare rods and run a bead. Then I learned to TIG weld, and a few years later it was MIG, then had to get certified on Mig at work. I am WAY out of practice on TIG, but bought a Synchrowave 250 a few weeks ago, along with a Power Mig 300. 50' Python came with the Power Mig, and I have Steel, stainless and aluminum rod/wire for both welders. It's like riding a bike, but not quite as easy. The guy I built race cars with was a wizard with a Tig, he could weld 2 pop cans together side to side and not make a hole.
