I still hunt all the time. I also know some that do drives and I do at least two drives per year. Where are you doing this? Private land where you have exclusive rights? If I tried to Still Hunt Pulaski I'd likely be arrested for leaving my area. I'm sure Still/Stalk is possible, and safe, if you have exclusive rights. Otherwise, I'd think it's a good way to get shot.

Just something I want to mention-my hunting partner and I have "exclusive" rights to the 2 small woodlots we deer hunt-except for the rabbit hunter his brother-in-law gave permission to hunt the same small woodlots, plus the tresspasser who lives on the road on the backside of the woods, who helps himself to the woods whenever he likes-and Harold`s Mother-In-Law won`t prosecute because, she "just doesn`t want the trouble", then there are the guys who live on the property line on the NW side, who let themselves in whenever they like too. I haven`t even told you about the family who lives across the road, where the boys ride their 4-wheelers across the field and into the woods whenever they like-I caught them once and told them they were tresspassing-they retorted that they`ve been doing this for 4 or 5 years-doesn`t matter they`ve never had permission I guess. Then their dad busted our deer hunt that evening, tresspassing as his son`s have been to confront us about "the way we dealt with his kids". Then in the same week, I was stopped and confronted by a fellow who quizzed me as to who I was and if I had permission to be in the woods. I told him yes, I have permission from the owner, and who was he? He let me know that the guy who cash rents the tillable ground had given him permission to deer hunt this woods and he was simply looking out for his interests. Later that very same week, as Harold and I sat in stands watching deer trails, we heard a chainsaw fire up very nearby. I sighed and met him beneath his ladderstand and we walked to the sound of the saw-it was the son of the guy who cash rents the tillable ground-yeah, he saw out trucks parked in the field and figured we were hunting, but just wanted to cut this firewood for the weekend. Again-they lease the tillable ground only, but apparently feel like they`re entitled to the woods too. And again, Harolds Mother-In-Law just doesn`t want to stir things up. Sorry for being so long winded, but when I saw "exclusive rights", it was more than I could bear, as I know from harsh experience that exclusive rights really means nothing.

That sounds like it sucks about as bad as Pulaski on Opener.
OTOH, none of those situations would prevent you from stalk/still hunting. Not that you would be any more/less successful, it's just that you wouldn't likely ber stalking into someone else's shooting lane.
