Now that almost all the hunting seasons are over it's time to test my culinary skills on this past years harvest.
In honor of the Chili Bowl race I decided to make my wife a fantastic brunch.
In the photo below you will see 2 farm fresh eggs cooked in 2 slices of Texas toast and covered with Morel mushrooms sauteed in butter. We call this eggs in a basket.
Then you will see 2 wild dove breasts wrapped in maple smoked bacon smeared with BBQ sauce and cooked on the grill.
You will also see fresh asparagus also wrapped in maple smoked bacon and cooked on the grill.
And last but not least you have a half of a pheasant breast also wrapped in bacon and grilled to perfection.
Wash all this down with fresh orange juice.

A culinary delight. I think on our next fishing trip instead of going outfor dinner you should figure out a meal and feed all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol
