In the process of getting an old motorcycle running, I seemed to have a dilly of a time dissolving some of the old varnished fuel residue. Traditional carb and choke cleaner wasn't getting the job done. The most stubborn and vital parts that needed a good cleaning where the pilot jets on this old Honda. All 4 jets on the CB750 were completely plugged. Scanning my cabinet for options, I started reading labels. Safariland BreakFree-Powder Blast kind of caught my eye. A few hours soaking and then gently reaming with a single small copper strand from some braided wire and... WALAH! Worked like a charm and this old Honda is back to running like a dream. A quick note, though. This is not the CLP version. This stuff is pretty potent and aggressive as it contains acetone and toluene! Good for the metal parts! Can be disaster on most plastics, finishes, polymers and such!

I wish they still made Hog Wash Carb Cleaner. Best stuff on the market but I'm guessing the EPA had to get their fingers in the pie and messed things up.
