Does this look like Avian pox to anyone? Something else?

Looks like it to me.
You might want to contact the DNR on that one.
You kill it this morning?

He said she was by herself and seemed "a little off". He didn't elaborate much. Biologist stated that he believes that it is Avian pox. However, he didn't really recommend a course of action in the event we see others infected.

Coming back from Turkey hunting this morning I saw a 3" jake along the roadway that looked like that. Saw him from five yards as I drove by slowly, looked like tan warts all over his head and neck. Was in East Dubois county. Bob

According to my local CO, he told me the state Biologist said it was. That being said, I still wouldn't do it. That's just me.

That's just me. I think I`m the same. Just like with deer, if they were to have EHD, or TB, they`re supposedly ok to eat, but if a deer I killed had either, I doubt I`d eat that meat.
