I wish I remembered the thread, but recently, someone was mentioning the Gun Owners of America, (GOA), alerts that get sent out, some via email and some via pre-written post cards sent to your home to sign and mail to your elected employees. Here is a GOA Alert that showed up in my email inbox today: oneclickpolitics.global.ssl.fastly.net/messages/edit?promo_id=7087

I`m a huge fan of GOA. If I knew then what I know now, I`d possibly be a GOA Life Member instead of NRA. I`m only an annual member currently.

I believe that`s been misrepresented and distorted by our enemies. maybe there`s something going on there, but I don`t believe it`s all the liberal puppet media claims it to be. My problem with NRA as of late has been that they are now endorsing soft gun control. I miss their backbone from their infamous "jack-booted thugs" letter to members. GOA has that kind of grit and toughness, and that`s what we need in the face of the attacks we see today on our Second Amendment rights.

We need help in getting the 2nd amendment followed and not ignored like we have been doing since 1939. We forget the meaning of the 2nd amendment and why it was added to the US constitution. IMHO>

I looked at the GOA to join. Are they doing any good or are they getting greedy like the NRA leaders? I am really po'd at the NRA top people.
Also, what about the NSSF?

I looked at the GOA to join. Are they doing any good or are they getting greedy like the NRA leaders? I am really po'd at the NRA top people. Also, what about the NSSF? I don`t know anything about the NSSF, I`ve never even researched them. I`m an NRA-Life Endowment member, and I`m frustrated with them too. I don`t know what`s going on there in leadership, but I believe they did all of us a favor by getting rid of Chris Cox., and I hope Darren LaSorte left with Cox. As for GOA, they`re like NRA, way back when NRA was enthusiastic and tough on defending the Second Amendment. Kinda like NRA when they sent out the "Jack-booted thug" letter. I`m not queasy about speaking the truth, even if it ruffles some feathers, so I appreciated that. I`ve read somewhere that GOA has "over two million members". I wish there was some idea of how much over two million, but I believe that with the NRA attacks by the liberal puppet media, that GOA`s membership has been growing. GOA, if you`ve signed up for them, will send out both, email alerts, and, alerts to your home via USPS. They`ll most times include postcards that you simply sign and affix postage to and drop in the mailbox, or an email alert with a pre-printed email already ready to email to your elected officials, and again, you just type your signature and click send. GOA is very active, again, a lot like NRA used to be, on Capital Hill. GOA seemingly confronts nearly every attack on Second Amendment rights that they find. They`re busy, they`re active, and they`re hard core. I like and appreciate them.
