Wish I’d have read the reviews before I bought this double ladder stand. I went cheap and cheap I got. Instructions weren’t too plain. Holes did not line up well. It took me 45 minutes to install a simple (supposedly) seat bar. Over 2 hours later and it still ain’t quite together. No more Big Game treestands for me. www.ruralking.com/big-game-guardian-xlt-18-foot-ladderstand

Woody, we got the one with the double sling sit and the instructions were terrible (mama went into a cussing fit), and we gave up on the seat and had my buddy who built my deck help. It is nice now that it is up, but it took some doing. Got it for like $80. I just put up a big game single and it wasn't nearly as bad.

Going back over it now to redo the seat to the stand itself. The hardest stand I have ever put together!

It is all together now.
I split a "pool noodle" and fastened it to the back bar to have something softer than a bar to lean against. Looked pretty good so I did the same on the shooting rail.
Going up this morning to set it up.. Where it is going will be for mornings only..

Woody, you might want to put some cloth over the pool noodles. They will make noise if you try to slide something on them.

Yeah I bought the two man XLT last year. That seat bar is a pain in the neck! Would be very upset if that mesh seating tares up before I get a couple years use out of it. After it was all said and done I was short 1 nut and bolt. But I took one and went to the hardware section bought a couple spares cause I think I had some short ones and long ones in the wrong spots... Directions were awful!

I hunted it a few times and if it is to hunted by two "men" they had better be pretty small men. Stand is Pretty small and uncomfortable.

I bought one from Walmart last season and it works just fine for my son and I hunting together. Just bought a new one tonight that’s a little different than the one from last season, but still a 2 man stand and I got it for $60.
