What a slap in the face to ICO's, crazy. At least suspend his rights for a year. Not good!

Shame you can’t kill a deer without the government coming and taking the antlers. Bad enough they take 30 percent of your income for taxes

As big as that deer was he was probably close to dying anyways from radiation. There are countless microwaves in greencastle especially since it is a college town. So probably a lot of internet in the air too which we all know what happens when you get too many internets in the air!

Pretty sure Greencastle has disappeared and then reappeared due to all the waves and electromagnetic fields surrounding it.

Pretty sure Greencastle has disappeared and then reappeared due to all the waves and electromagnetic fields surrounding it. Is this an alarming trend that is going to continue to happen??

Who ever from the DNR that decided to drop the charges should be fired! It's not DNR's call. It's the prosecutor's. And most prosecutors see poaching get cases as a nuisance to them.

I thought the DNR/state, could in the event of poaching and other game violations seize the firearm, truck, etc. I suppose that`s only if they prosecute and are successful. Still leaves me scratching my head as to why, when they have this guys dead to rights, let him og. In an unrelated, but still similar vein, this is how, by and large, trespassing complaints are handled. Not much happens, so guys contine to help themselves to the land you own or have access to, and not much that can be done.

The DNR can seize at time of arrest and hold as evidence, but the actual forfeiture is determined by the judge. Plus, after Indiana lost the SCOTUS ruling about unreasonable fines when a Landrover was seized after a guy was caught selling drugs out of it, the state doesn't seize much these days.
