Just had a yote come through up the trail from behind me. It stopped and pee'd in the scrape I made this morning. Couldn't get a shot off. Grrr....

I really hate it when you can’t get a shot at one That's a first for me in my short hunting career. Kinda caught me off guard to be honest. It stopped very briefly so no time to even draw the crossbow on it.

Nothing this morning excepts 3 racoons, tons of squirrels, & ten hen turkeys. Will try another stand tomorrow.

I've been strapped into my stand for a little over an hour now. It feels really good to be back out. Two Tom's just entered the field while I'm typing this. Looking to harvest a hen though. 3 Tom's now...

Only saw the one doe this morning. I'm in a different spot tonight, haven't hunted here in a couple of years. I'm on a ridge, got a clear-cut about 5 acres in size and probably 5 years old to my left, timber with a bunch of oaks on my right.

Had two does come into the field in front of me. Fairly high wind gust so far in Monroe County. They seemed very spooked. Took a look this way then a slight jog into the thicket to my right.

One doe about 50 yards out. I was out in my new barn working on new electric, but had my xbox with me. When ever out in the yard it's near by.
