Got down to the farm tonight around 8:30 and checked a trailcam...speechless He is mature, for sure. But not the genetics I would want breeding. Maybe do a kind deed and let someone who hasnt killed a deer try to kill him. That is what I would do, anyway. My mom still has her buck tag and her stand isn't 100 yards from this picture. He will get shot if he shows up.

Going tomorrow, who else is going? This may be my last weekend. I've arranged plans for after hunting tomorrow also... Good luck to you all! Getting dressed now and ready to make the hour drive. Good luck to everyone still going without sleep and getting out there.

Getting ready as we speak. Gonna go hit the reduction park property here in ohio. My daytime pictures are all in the morning. Hoping my daughter can get a chance at something. Plus it's where the ground blind is

I’ll be heading out the back door here soon. Haven’t been able to hunt much lately because of work but I can fit in half a days sit today. Hope they’re on their feet!

Walked out the door at the house and it was overcast and drizzly, I thought, perfect, no full moon effect. Got to my stand more than an hour later, and it's not overcast here. It looks like there's a helicopter flood light shining down on everything. It's going to be a long morning. Oh well, at least I'm hunting. Good luck everyone.

Been settled in for 20 minutes and just had a yote come by at 5 yds. Just to dark to shoot.

Very dense fog here in Monroe county this morning. Looks like it’s finally starting to clear up but I can still only see out to 100 yards

30 yard encounter with a good sized doe. Only problem was she was facing me and I'm using my bow still! Walked through the thickest stuff in the woods as it was leaving.

Dead at the blind. Another guy is about 300 yards deeper in than us and has seen some bucks chasing does.

Just had a young doe come tromping down the ridge next to me then up onto the ridge I’m on, only to stop 40 yards in front of me. She was moving pretty good like she was being chased. Only hung around a few seconds and continued on. No buck following

Fog slowly lifting here, and the sun just popped out, it's beautiful. Blue birds all around me. About 40 yards out, a fresh rub. Its incredible how they just light up when the sun hits them. Zero deer movement. Going to try to stay put till 11:00 then get to the truck for sandwhich and coffee, then drive to evening spot. Want to be in the stand for evening hunt by 2:00.
