Looking for some tips on bass fishing "Heavy" weeds -hydrilla/milfoil? I have fished a lot over 30 yrs, tourneys and pleasure, and recently was at Summit Lake. I've never seen so much vegetation in one body of water. I tried Yamamoto skirted grub on a weedless Arkie jig, on brush jig, swim jig and even on Oldhams weedless jig. Texas rigged and swim baits. Weighted hook with worm was minimal hang ups, but all came to boat covered in grass. Anybody have a tried and true secret they wouldn't mind sharing??

Update- After another trip to Summit yesterday, I was able to fish a worm on a drop shot rig and a weedless swim jig with minimal hang ups. All was done from a kayak which makes hang ups extra hard since you get pulled in direction of snags
