Congrats HBJ! Both on the deer, and 6 squills takes our team to 100 for the season, so far. Shot me a sammich deer, Monday, on a pretty foggy morning. Thought it was a huge doe, turned out to be a spike buck....oh well venison on the menu...

I figured I should take my CZ out when I went to set up a hunting blind in the deer woods for the rainy Saturday, just in case I had a chance at a squirrel. Sure enough as I was setting the blind up, A gray sat perched about 30 yards away just barking like crazy at me. The 22mag is the last thing she saw. Add 1 more to Team 6!

Woody, could you add 14 to Team #4 Fort Nuts? Since deer were so slow in showing themselves, a buddy (and his wife) had a squirrel chew it's way thru the wooden soffit in their place and said "Kill all you can, we are tired of hearing them running around up in the attic." So over the period of 4 days I eliminated 14 of them. Still don't know if I got the offending parties though, last I heard there were no more visitors. I'll throw up a couple of pictures. Most were shot at around 25 yds. Regular CCI Blazer .22's, Hi Standard with an Aimpoint Red Dot. The paper plate was just to verify point of impact at 25 yds with me using a tree to steady the pistol.

Dang, way to go bro!
I would prob shoot more if I didnt mind the prep work to clean and cook. If I could just shoot and scoop out a bowl of squirrel and dumplings, I would shoot a thousand. Lol

Lol Baking the old ones and deep frying the young ones breaded with the Cajun breading have been game changers. So much so that right now I have 11 in the freezer. Would probably be less except for the Christmas leftovers! 😁

I'd be shooting a LOT more of them if they did.

I actually try to get every fox squirrel I can because I would rather have the grays around.
Got lucky today and the fox squirrels were all real young ones.

1 more for Team 6. Slept in a bit this morning and then sat in my stand where I bowhunt since I saw so many squirrels there while deer hunting. Don't know where all the squirrels went, but at least I did not see a bunch of deer. 😊 My season total is now 58.

Omega... You sure know how to get it done. I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll see another squirrel let alone limit for a day! Beautiful morning yesterday. Until it started sleeting. Had the Ruger Mk4 Lite for close shots and the CZ 452 for anything out past 15 yards or so. And totally got skunked!
