So yesterday the 9th Distric Court in Oakland sided with California and issued an injunction to prevent new sections of border wall to begin the construction process Monday.
Am I the only person that feels the Border Patrol should be pulled from California and all border crossings be closed? They don't want anything impeding illegal crossings so I see no need to impede any crossings. Shut it down, lock the gate, walk away. Let California deal with whatever comes.

IMO, the first and most important job of the government of any nation is to secure its borders.
That should take precedence over conducting wars around the world, guaranteeing equal personal incomes for all the residents, regulating the efficacy and safety of everything that can be ingested within its borders, and even guaranteeing the moral behavior of its population.
Without doing job one, there will no longer be a nation in which those other tasks might be attempted.
As to the particulars of doing that first job, I do have serious doubt as to the cost-effectiveness of a wall that is already being scaled, flown over, tunneled under, and by-passed by the majority of those who choose to ignore the restrictions it tries to enforce. It may well be the modern equivalent to the Maginot Line that France built to stop the German tanks from invading.
But if we are to oppose the wall as being another foolish expenditure of the national treasure, we should probably put it on our list of such things to oppose, along with most of our wars within memory, spending three cents each to make pennies, and the War on (insert whatever.... Drugs, Poverty, Ignorance), and Free Stuff in general.

Well like most problems it is not just one thing.
We need to stop them from crossing, #1, and also address the reasons why they do it.
#2 on my list is hammer the rotten employers that lure them over here.
#3 is see if we can help their home countries thrive economically so they don't have to leave to feed their kids.
#4 is weed out the violent criminals and throw them in prison.

I’m about three beers from going on a rant about politics, but I’ll restrain myself and settle for a few questions and comments related to this post.
Can someone tell me specifically what country that I, as a United States citizen, can stroll into without proper identification and enjoy the basic freedoms and liberties of that country? Voting, health care, education, etc. I can’t wait for a credible answer.
I find it most peculiar that most of the (D) presidential candidates that are campaigning for open borders, live nowhere close to a border state, much less represent one. Oh, except for Beto. Someone please remind me, what is his current occupation?
California, or maybe just LA, recently appropriated $100m towards healthcare for illegal immigrants. There are more homeless US citizens in that s*&it hole state than any other. So, take care of admittedly illegal folks other than our own? Please explain. Oh yeah, Democrats need the votes.

Illegals don't vote or get free education or health care. That is a myth spread by con artists like Sean Hannity to whip people into a frenzy. If you know any, and I do, they try to stay as invisible and off the books as humanly possible, so they don't get deported. No paper trail if they can help it. They would never fill out registration forms or applications if they can avoid it.
That is why unscrupulous business owners and corporations can get away with paying them dirt wages and also evade payroll taxes, workers comp, safety rules etc. These employers are breaking several laws, starting with tax evasion
Despite a lot of digging, virtually no evidence of illegals voting has been uncovered.
In kooky California though, some local governments are trying to make it legal for illegals to vote.
I stand by my earlier post- secure the border, and hit the crooked employers HARD!

It’s a good thing all of our forefathers came to America on the up and up. lol.... don't go there! What? You didn’t know illegals are the ones raping and killing our people? (Whites aren’t statistically more likely to be serial killers) Also the only reason we have drugs is because it comes from Mexico? ( whites aren’t the majority user of illicit drugs) Top it off they are stealing our jobs and devaluing our labors worth?( I want to start a tomato picking crew who wants to come? Oh nobody?)

IMO, what is really going on is the ultimate "redistricting" of the United States of America.
When illegal immigrants come into this country, they have kids who are legal citizens, and then they have kids, and so on and so forth. In the not so distant future, they (along with other minorities) will become such a large voter block (that traditionally vote Democrat) that typical Republicans voters will become the minority and thus unable to vote in large enough numbers to keep the Republican party in power.
The real question IMO is...
What does the Republican party do to try and bring members of this "new majority" into the fold?

That is a good question- the R Party needs to showcase itself as the party that champions economic opportunity, freedom, integrity and welcomes (legal) immigrants, and distance itself from fringe hate groups.
Today the Proud Boys and Antifa are literally fighting in the streets- oh boy, there are a couple of fine examples for our young folks to grow up with, eh?
Instead of beating on the Democrats, convince voters that the conservative way is better. I for one am tired of hearing nothing but how rotten the other guys are. Try telling me why you would be good instead.
Both sides have done a good job of convincing the public that they are untrustworthy and only interested in themselves.

We don't need more laws....we need to properly fund, support and enforce the ones we have!
You start sending illegals back home, making people value hard work (by reducing hand outs), realize that not everyone should go to college, and putting criminals in the ground...things will change. You continue to feed the bears....the bears are going to continue to come in more and more numbers and become more and more reliant on that support system!

If it was only that easy..... What a perfect world we have then! Yep, all of our problems solved by a simple wall. No more drugs or job stealers. Heck I was reading an article the other day about an immigrant who was found with dozens of stolen jobs in his basement. That to me is the problem taking away the American Dream from our ambitious youth. How can they ever live out their dream to become brick layers or day laborers or vegetable/fruit harvesters. The list is long of all the highly desirable jobs that these illegals from the southern border are stealing. Let’s build two walls!
