I've been working the St Louis area for the past few weeks. It's pretty crazy to see some of the devastation first hand and this isn't even the worst of it. Here is a shot of a farm near Granite City, IL taken last Thursday: One week later: Up around St Charles, I saw a sports complex that is usually humming with soccer and softball games. Not now, with the concession building completely under water.

I have to drive to Texas soon. Hopefully I-57 is still open in Southern Illinois. Last time thru there the water was getting pretty close to topping the highway.

Just came back from Memphis -the water is getting pretty close to 57, but not closed yet. I saw a sign saying I-40 was closed west of 57.
Listening to local news, the amazing thing is how long the water has stayed high. There are staggering amounts of cropland that have been under for almost 90 days they say
