I hate you.
No, seriously. I hate you.
:-)
I changed my diet, have been eating less, exercising more, going to cardiac rehab 3 days a week, and on the prescribed medicine cocktail since the first of February.
I've dropped about 10 pounds total. The good news is my lipid levels are now all down to the "optimal" level, except the "good" cholesterol. It seems to be as stubborn as my weight these days.
Congratulations on your success and I hope it continues. Oh, and good luck on the hunt.

My God you don't even look like the same person. Congratulation!!! Did you just cut back on the size of the meals you ate? Please tell us how you did this. I'm very impressed. I have been trying to lose weight and I'm not having much luck. I try to cut back but it seems like I'm hungry all the time. What type of exercises did you do? I went mushroom hunting today and I just couldn't do it like I could just a few years ago. I used to go from sun up to sun down. Today I barely made it an hour. Spoil banks like to killed me today. I weigh around 260lbs and would love to get down to 200. My face slimmed down a lot. Everyone tells me I look 10 years younger now. I had to tighten up my hats and my wedding ring is loose. I weight the same now as I did when I graduated high school. I cut back on the amount of food that I ate and tried to avoid anything high in carbs. I eat a lot of meat, dairy, and protein. I also have been doing intermittent fasting. I eat 2 meals a day, noon and 5-6pm. No breakfast or snacking. I only drink water. I have found it's a very easy diet to maintain. I eat a lot of baked chicken and a lot of grilled meat. I have put in a lot of miles walking, hiking, and on the exercise bike. I try to do 1-2 hours of exercise every day. Sometimes that's just not possible.

The bigger question is, did you win?

The bigger question is, did you win? They are announcing the winner Tuesday evening. I'll let you know.

A client lost 110# over a year just cutting out carbs and sugar. No additional exercise, etc. He stayed under 5g sugar and 30g carbs/day. It's been 2 years and he's still keeping with the program.
I repeat, good job!!!
