Going to take the back seats out of my CR-V and convert it into a microcamper--basically a sleeping platform with room for storage underneath. One panel of the bed platform will remove so that my Ruff Tuff kennel can slip in there whenever the birddog is with me. Adding a trailer hitch and hitch carrier to the options. When I am out rock climbing, camping, etc. I will use the roof mounted luggage rack. When I am hauling the kayak around on the roof, I'll use the hitch carrier for gear. Well back seats came out easy enough, got my Yeti 35 that will integrate into the sleeping platform, and I anticipate ordering my Camp Chef Everest camp stove here in the next week or two. Construction on the build begins on Thursday evening! Here is the video that I am following if anyone is interested. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7PU4SjQQMYSounds like a neat project! Post some pics when done!

This Saturday we will be pouring the concrete floor in the new barn. My youngest son Sam, his buddies, and I will be the team. Good news, Sam and his friends know how and have the tools. Pouring it in two sections so we have proper time for polishing. Two trucks needed and putting foam expansion joint around the inside perimeter and between the two slabs. I'll post pictures of the process.

No floor heat. Thought about that, but decided not.

Fiber only and 5" thick. Approx: Sloping 1/2" - 1" every 10 feet to help water runoff. Slope back to front and wall to center. Allow the water to run out the door.
Son is will-calling this morning. Two trucks called with one in the morning around 8am and the 2nd one on-call and thinking around lunch time or right after.

Worn out and two very long days. 8 yards of gravel and 16 yards of concrete. Almost finished. Tomorrow we will cut and epoxy. The epoxy will polish the surface like a garage surface. Next week or two a lot of fill and topsoil for around the door pad. imgur.com/a/bfEJI1uimgur.com/a/SuxP7Slimgur.com/a/CRx0ASi

Grinding today to clean up rough and high spots. Saw cut tomorrow evening after work and epoxy Tuesday or Wednesday.
