I'm looking for a good swivel chair to put in my Redneck Ghillie Blind. I've looked at several but, there's a lot of negative reviews pertaining to being noisy in cold temps. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I bought a stool with a swivel from Gander Mt, the old store. Quiet and swivels easy. The only draw back is it came unfolded easy so I just made a loop of paracord to hold the legs together. It would be nicer if it was taller.

I buy the nice black vinyl padded swivel office chars from WalMart for $69.99 Much more comfortable than those folding mesh seats made by several of the blind manufacturers, and probably cheaper.

Go to any yard sale this spring. Buy a old office chair for 3-5 bucks.

Do you have a solid floor? I won't have a solid floor while turkey hunting but, during deer season it'll be on a hay wagon. I'm putting 1/2" plywood on top of the hay wagon also. I purchased the padding that goes inside the blind also to help silence some movement. I got started on the blind assembly this afternoon. Windows are slightly higher than other blinds. Office chairs sound like a good idea

Office chairs sound like a good idea I was going to suggest what most here have been. An office chair w/arms. We've used them for years in our blinds and to be able to roll around without making noise (plus the comfort) is a big plus.

I read this thread this morning. Then I got to work and there was an office chair in the dumpster. Needless to say it's going home with me.

I sit on a 5 gallon bucket with a seat cushion and lean up against the interior wall! Great for toting other things back and forth to the blind as well. I can't leave anything in the blind as the mice seem to chew up anything and everything they can.

I buy old leather office chairs from Goodwill for $4.99. Super cheap and comfortable. I have them in all my Tower tree stands.

Jbird I couldnt do a lot of time on a bucket. During turkey season I will do 14 hour sets. I don't think I would be able to feel my behind after siting on a bucket for that length of time. Man that would leave some funny looking tracks in the snow! I tend to hunt only a few hours most of the time. I would like a better situation, but the mice just destroy everything...and if I get too comfortable, I'll do more sleeping than hunting!
