I guess if you can’t pull a bow or crossbow back it would have a use other than that I don’t see it taking off but who knows maybe they can find a market for it

The typical cost of 20 bullets = 3 arrows. I'll take the 20 shots over 3 any day. The way the fletching are jammed down the barrow I wouldn't expect the fletching to last.

I suspect somebody will be trying to get those "air bows" like Jim Shockey advertises made legal for the Indiana archery season some day soon.

if it requires blanks to function (thus moving the projectile via an explosion)....it's technically a firearm at least as I understand it in IN. As such...no value. I agree in that the ONLY market I see is that of those even further limited to not being able to use a traditional x-bow. It would seeming shoot and handle more like a rifle which may appeal to some vs a traditional X-bow. I'm not going to rush out an buy one....I suspect I will never own one.

Something like that has been around for IIRC at least 15 years. With the crank cockers on x-bows I see no value in it other than a novelty. It maybe considered a legal firearm on private property, depending on the length of the brass.....

An ingenious solution to a non-existent problem.

Well, if the "opportunity" folks are consistent they will be all in on this....
Personally, I am and always have been a leave it alone guy when it comes to change. Plus, I bet this thing is terrible on deer considering the (relative lack of) speed and the noise it has to make.

I’d put this in the firearms category. Want to include it in that season, OK. No interest in it personally

dbd870 I agree, if a weapon is efficient allow it during the general firearms season, air guns, spears, whatever. I don't think every weapon type needs it's own special season.

It uses a charge to propell a projectile. Sounds rather firearm like to me
