I'd say the 6.5 Creedmoor is here to stay. Another fad cartridge will come along in a few years, but with nearly every manufacturer producing them, and the way the Creedmoors are flying off the shelves relative to other chamberings, our grandkids are set to inherit safes full of plastic 6.5 rifles.
It's in the running for my girls' deer rifles when they're ready due to recoil. Probably between that and the 7mm08.

I like my 260’s which for the most part is so close to the Creedmore for most users they are the same thing. The difference is Remington once again blew it with how they handled it. Can they do anything right theses days
