I don't leave the seats. Tree rats like them for nesting materials.

Now my loc ons the seats are all taken off but I stand all day anyway. Climbers never had an issue. I always stretch them all the way up and lean against tree to stand all day

Took down last two yesterday. Time to check straps, loose bokts, and paint.

Cleaned out the blinds Christmas day. Left just a couple things in there for yote calling.

Legally they have to be removed by January 10th so ill probably remove them on the 9th

It would take me 6 months to take down all the stands I have put up over the years. I leave them up year round, but all of mine have been converted to chain including the two floor supports. I use chain on my ladder stands also that I made out of TV antenna tower. Some of them are 10 plus years old. I do try and get my safety harness life lines and teather straps every year.
