Does anyone have or know someone who has a sawmill close to Switzerland or Ohio County? I want to cut several osage trees and have them cut into slabs. I know there is a large sawmill between East Enterprise and Pleasant. I'd rather find someone with a smaller operation where I could help and see how the cuts look as we go.

The one you mentioned on Levell road and 250 will work with you. It's just two of them. That mill was not working for many years until they revived it. If I remember right it's two Amish brothers.

I know someone that has a portable mill setup. They charge a very modest mobilization fee, then an hourly rate. Let me know if you want their contact info.
