IMO the far right is every bit as bad as the far left.

Dr. Dobson is a good man to be sure, and this piece is accurate. There`s no middle ground here. If you support demon-crats, you`re supporting domestic terrorists.

I agree with greyhair. Clowns to the left, jokers to the right and we’re stuck in the middle.

I agree with greyhair. Clowns to the left, jokers to the right and we’re stuck in the middle. You just dated yourself. Stealers Wheel: Stuck in the Middle with You, 1972. Nice use of the song!! Remember the song well. I was 20 years old. Long time ago......

Term limits are badly needed. These people staying in Congress for 10, 20, 30 years means the power goes to their heads and they start to think we are their subjects instead of their employers.
I also we should consider single term Presidents, maybe one 5 or 6 year term.
I too wish Libertarians could get some traction, or some new party. I voted for Gary Johnson because I just could not make myself vote for either of the other two horror shows. I would stay home first.
Where is Teddy Roosevelt when you need him?
I have an original Teddy Roosevelt campaign button from the Bull Moose Party run. Color, actually.

The opposition of Kavanaugh coming from the party reelected a Senator that played around on his wife and drove his car off a bridge while drunk killing one of his mistresses is a joke. Add in Dem president Clinton that carried on affairs in the White House and you have a group throwing rocks in a glass house.
I too would like to see the Libertarians do better. BUT I fear that a valid candidate would split the votes with the republican candidate and the Dem would win. And I have to ask what the Republicans have done for the second amendment this term. They have dropped the ball on the hearing protection act and CC resoprosity.

BUT I fear that a valid candidate would split the votes with the republican candidate and the Dem would win. And I have to ask what the Republicans have done for the second amendment this term. They have dropped the ball on the hearing protection act and CC resoprosity. You make a couple good points. As for voting for a third party candidate, it`s the same as not voting at all. It only takes a vote away from likely a conservative candidate that actually may have had a chance to win, and thereby, make some meaningful difference. It doesn`t matter what their positions are if they cannot get elected. Most times, voting for a third party candidate is pointless. And you`re spot on about making progress on our Second Amendment rights. The Repubs generally are much more favorable to the Second Amendment than dems, but even the GOP has dropped the ball, at the Statehouse and in Washington. National Reciprocity ought to already be the law of the land, and, constitutional carry ought to be the law in Indiana. Period. Law-abiding American citizens shouldn`t need a permission slip in order to carry a weapon. Had constitutional carry become law in Indiana, it would have changed nothing other than we wouldn`t need permission to carry from the state. Prohibited persons would still be prohibited from carrying, and let`s face it, criminals already carry without benefit of a carry permit, but citizens still have to ask permission to exercise a constitutional right, and pay a lot of money to ask for that permission. When government may mandate licensing, testing, or training before we can keep and bear arms, then it`s not a right at all, but only a privilege granted by the state. 100% unacceptable. To that end, even though I`m an NRA Life-Endowment member, I`m also a Gun Owners of America annual member. These days, I like and prefer GOA much better than NRA. NRA supports soft gun control, where GOA does not, and I believe never will.

Two really interesting pieces, and both, I feel, accurate. Libs make their political living by inciting their faithful to hysterical, emotional rhetoric and propaganda. I heard a news report on the radio earlier in my truck, and some women were literally screeching in loud shrill voices, that, "We believe survivors". It`s sickening that in America today, for seemingly a great many people, the presumption of innocence is disregarded entirely due to a mere, unfounded, unsubstantiated accusation. The idiot Governor here in Indiana said the Indiana AG, Curtis Hill ought to step down over allegations of sexual misconduct, with zero evidence of any wrong doing. It`s troubling, just very troubling. American jurisprudence demands that no one is guilty, and are to absolutely be presumed innocent, unless, and until, proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I say that I believe all libs to be mentally and emotionally unstable, and by and large, I honestly believe that, but at the same time, they`re diabolical and nearly genius in their sneaking and conniving. Even as I`m sitting here writing this, watching the Kavanaugh hearing on Fox News, there are some protesters disrupting the hearing with loud, shrill, hysterical screams of protesters. They truly are unstable.

They finally have the protesters removed from the chambers, so the confirmation vote finally concluded. They`re counting now, and it`s unofficial for now, but it appears that Judge Kavanaugh has been confirmed to the United States Supreme Court. Mexico Joe Donnelly of course voted "NO".
