Does anyone have an absolute favorite camera they would do just about anything short of trading in your wife to have? Looking to buy one.

I wouldn't go that far, but I DID buy 3 more Cuddeback cameras when they were on sale this year. I've tried a few other brands and the trigger speed on these are great. Now, these are on private property with little chance of theft. i.e. if someone is on the property, they better have a damn good reason or they'll be in deep doo-doo. In other words, if they don't want to show me ID, then the both the sheriff and CO will be called.

Been generally happy with Spypoint. 3 out of 4 are still working after 2 years. Had some electronic glitches. Ants did one in and one was replaced under warranty. Not perfect but very helpful.

I’ve tried a lot of them and here is what I have experienced.
Primos lasted 2 days past warranty & customer service wouldn’t do anything.
Wild game lasted 7 months and would hardly trigger .
Browning I bought from midway on sale recently & it didn’t work out of the box Midway was great about returning
Cuddeback have had for over a year still working & trigger speed is good night pictures ok .
Moultrie I have a few of these 2 year warranty & trigger speed is ok I have M-1100i which are older model
Spy point is one I haven’t tried as warranty is done in Canada I believe
So all in all it’s a crap 💩 shoot 😊
Let us know what you decide & good luck 👍

I have 2 generations of the moultrie A5 that are 5 years old. Trigger speed sucks but they won't quit.
I have a stealth cam thats going on 4 years. A little better trigger speed.
I have two special run brownings that have been going for 3 years.
All of my cameras run from july to january.

Myself had a M-990I I really liked it as the trigger speed and the reload time was good. But some thief took it. I may try another brand, just wanted to get a sampling of what you all thought.

I am cheap....so that said I used stealth cams. They are fine, just don;t last but a year or so. I am happy with the new Browning I got this spring..... I am sure there are far better ones out there.....I just can't justify hanging a $100 off a tree!
P.S. - I wasn't aware trading the wife in was an option...... I have yet been to a store that accepts trade-in's!

I have a cheap wild game that is out year round for 3 years. Trigger speed is slow and nights aren't that good. Bucks moving are also blurry. typical ex:

I still have a couple Scoutgard cameras that are 9 years old still working. Bushnell has always been pretty good to me.The old M80 Moultrie cameras were winners. Don't know why they quit making them

I have used the following:
Primos. It was an older model and worked OK for a couple of years. Slow trigger speed and blurry night pictures
Moultrie. It replaced the Primos. This was a great camera. It was left out and running for several years non stop. The strap rotted away and it fell on the ground and got water inside of it causing some issues. Before that it worked perfect. Night pictures were good. Decent trigger speed.
Stealth Cam This replaced the Moultrie. I felt like trying a different brand. I have been very unhappy with it. The trigger speed is ridiculously slow. I get a lot of pictures of deer butts. I've done test pictures where I walk by it at a normal pace. It takes the picture after I'm out of the frame. Night pictures aren't very good.
I ordered a Browning trail camera yesterday. I am excited to see how it works. It has to be better than the Stealth Cam. If it doesn't work out I will switch back to a Moultrie.
Do some research. Look up trigger speeds, detection range, battery life, owner reviews, etc. I watched several youtube reviews of the browning camera before I ordered it.

This is the typical picture that I get with the Stealth Cam. It's frustrating when you get a picture of the back half of a large bodied buck and have no idea what the front half looks like.

I checked the new browning trail cam for the first time today. It takes much better pictures than the Stealthcam that it replaced. I can tell a big difference in trigger speed and quality of the pictures. Check out the muscles and veins on this doe. Night time pictures are good also. It got this bird coming in for a landing.

I just bought a Campak T45. I'll be putting it out on Tuesday. Had to buy a micro sd card. I'll post a couple pictures in a day or two.
