They are not taking the jobs where I live. We have numerous factories here in the town I live. That is all you hear on the radio them begging for people to work. Sign on bonus, come for 90 days bonus, paid every week, free weekly give aways just to get people. People are to lazy. One place is paying 19 per hour and you work Friday, Sat and Sunday. Other place are working 7 days a week 10-12 hours a day. Hispanics are the only ones wanting to work.

Parrenthead, I agree there are a lot of lazy people. There are also fewer young man to work. I think the average family is around 1.7 kids. Not even enough to maintain population. How many of those families with two parents? I think around half. School and sports are a big issue. There are a lot of high school coaches that demand their kids not to play a 2nd sport or work. Same goes for college, most don't work and concentrate on studies. Or at least that's the theory.

Im confused on the "not enough to maintain population" thing ..... our population has gone up 15,000,000 in the last 8 years. Over 40,000,000 in the last 20 years and Nearly doubled in the last 75 years.
So .... what did you mean?

Good news. I checked and it's up from a few years ago.
The average American household consisted of 2.54 people in 2017.

Our population doubling every 75 years is not a good thing. Not even close. Its the opposite of a good thing.

I keep reading “people just don’t want to work” but what I want to know is I don’t particularly love it either but my family and myself want to eat and have nice things so how is not working an option? Oh wait, I think I already know.

Oh wait, I think I already know. I know plenty of people in construction over the years that wanted to work but couldn't or wouldn't get a crew of illegals to work for half price, so they went out of business because they got priced out. Such a broad comment to make, like a mom and pop store that got killed by Walmart "just don't want to work".

I am referring to people who won’t work because it is easier to get on the free giveaway programs and then they do not have to work NOT people who are forced out of work.
