You are living right! Wish I had enough money to put new siding on my house before it falls down or I die first! Lol.

Looking good! That wall paper doesn't belong in a log home..

I agree, the wall paper is getting covered up by the old floors. My dad and my brothers and I built this home 20 years ago. My dad tongue and grooved all the poplar floors so I'm putting them on the walls. Moved the stairs so they're stacked and made a new hallway then covered wall's in wood. Next is industrial lighting using iron pipe and Edison bulbs then hog wire for the stair railings and tin for accents. Stone hearth for a wood burner and new floors. I'll post when I get all of that done. Just using contractors for structural work and I'm finishing it.

I thought about making one, but it’s such a small job I just used my head and free arm.

Been awhile since I’ve worked inside my log home but I did manage to hook up my wood burning stove Monday. Lit a fire in it that night to be sure there’s no issues. Worked great and kept the place warm since it got down to 40 that night.

Looks Nice! That fire will feel good this fall when you're coming back from a cold sit in the stand.
