Are you going to install sliding windows?

Yes, using slider plexiglass. I have wooden guides I routered for sliding. Simple setup. Building it at home and taking it to my property to assemble on a hay trailer. Elevating it with 3 foot 4x4 posts to get 6 ft high. Going to skin it with osb board and paint it black on the inside and camo on the outside. I can lift the sections with lag eyes bolts then removed after nailed in place using my tractor bucket to lift. This one is for the grandkids to get started with.

I almost forgot, all the wood was free. When my father was alive he had a portable saw mill cut hundreds of 2x4s and 2x6s from his property. I bought the property years later after he passed and have a old barn full of poplar lumber. Its seasoned for 20 years. The osb I got from a friend who owns a small business and gets his product delivered on 4x8 skids covered in osb. I need to buy some tin for the roof and cheap paint.

Will do. With the rain starting tonight looks like it will be March before I can get back to it.

Start looking for wood stain in the mis-mixed section at stores. I got several gallons of Kilz for 4.99 per gallon at Wal-Mart normally around 30 bucks per gallon.

I have used the old style plastic truck bed liners for blind roofs. Last for ever and not as loud inside when raining. I gather up all the free one I can find. Just a thought to keep in mind.

Looks good. Make the floor level at least 4' above ground and it will exempt you from blaze orange on all sides. What are you using for siding?
I'd like to get hold of some of that flat metal that they use for semi trailer sidewalls somewhere to use as hunting blind siding. Would be easy to flash and install, and last forever. Don't think I'd use OSB, won't last long in the weather unless you paint and caulk frequently. For roofs, I always just get a sheet of EPDM rubber roofing. Put it over a flat plywood deck, one piece, no seams and it's good to go.

I agree about osb for the sides, but mine was free so I'll just paint it and get some use out of it. The height will be about 6 ft when on the trailer. I'd like to find some old rubber to use for the roof, I was going to use osb with tin. Did that to two other blinds I built about 20 years ago and held up well.

If you know of a sign company, talk to them. The billboard material can be used on the roof too. The rubber roofing will be quieter than the tin roof.

Dont want to skin it untill I get some billboard wrap. A friend is going getting me old billboard wrap for the roof and im going to see how tough it is for the sides. He says its some good thick wrap that screws with washers should hold in place. Trying to find me a dark color so I dont have to paint much.

The color won't bother or make any difference to the deer,I would recommend a light color so the it doesn't get to warm in there on sunny days.
