For one day looked hot last week, but nothing now. I think on doe came in early. Big guys never showed up.

I finally saw a decent buck on the move this morning.
I thought a doe and two fawns would bring him to me but he had other ideas. Instead of coming to the doe and fawns AND me he chose to nose down another deer run.

Yes, it just depends on if you are where the ones coming in are at. Getting cranking a little more each day.

Found probably 6 scrapes, not freshened up after the rain from yesterday. I am heading back tomorrow, I think it will be a much better hunt.

The only action i have seen was fri evening. i saw 2 small bucks sparring then chase a doe. Tonight i seen 7 does, a group of 4 and a group of 3. No bucks ever showed up. Have gotten some trail pics of bucks cruising though. Really think this week and weekend it should fire up good.

I think it's still coming on, weekend should be good. I hunted Saturday and saw 3 groups of does 1 group of 4, 1 group of 2, and another group of 2. Not a single buck in area. 2 groups were only on the drive in...
I did however see a small buck with a doe today had crossed 44, and was out in a field, to me it looked like doe was following buck. I did see 4 hit deer from this weekend, 3 bucks and one doe. One was in the middle of getting his antlers snatched, one didn't have a head and directly across The road was a hit doe, and the last I snagged a 5 pointers antlers. Will make a good compact set of rattles. Any fake rattle system I've heard can't compare to the real thing!

On the way home tonight I counted twelve does in the field down the road from my house and not one buck with them! Been finding some rubs and scrapes and seen a few cruising but no real chasing yet

NO bonafide 4+ year olds hitting anything hard yet here. The nice 2.5s and even a few 3.5s are starting to amp up but none of the true big boys are running and gunning yet. Will break loose anyday now though.
Just 2 days ago Pops had 10 different does around him and just one spike feeding with them or around them....just isn't quite happening yet.

Seen 6 does and no bucks Saturday evening. Took a big dry lone doe. Pics on the camera only had 1 big boy on his feet during daylight, but boy was he big. Im guessing mid 150s and big mature body. Lower food plot was torn up with scrapes and had a 2 liter bottle sized tree destroyed about 15' from my ladder stand.

I have a couple of does around my house that I see every other day or so and last night was the first time I saw a buck with them. It was a small 6 but even with the headlights on him he didn't want to leave the does.

Up here in the NW, I have only seen a couple of bucks in the daylight. I think it is still a ways off before the going gets good. There will be six of us at Potato Creek state park, so we will have a lot of input to share.

Saw 8 different bucks this morning. Moved a mile for this evening. 4 different bucks. 12 bucks in a day. I'd say so......
