Been extremely warm...I know I've slipped our for less hunts and not my better spots due to not expecting much movement due to temps. Still seeing deer but just not anything I've wanted to take or big does not giving a shot chance.
This temp swing is gonna explode the numbers I bet.

All this warm weather hasn't helped any.

Hardly any corn harvested in my home area and warm temp's not helping but it will all happen in time. Been hunting sparingly but that's about to change end of week.

I think deer numbers will be down a lot. The ground cover is still 100% leaves and the trees over 50%. Hard to see the deer and get a clear shot. The next 14 days will be great rut times and woods are still thick.

Ground cover and lots of leaves still on make it hard to see. Can’t believe how thick it is still.

So far this year overall I have been seeing an increase in deer numbers as a whole...just not mature bucks yet...but numbers around me are solid. Granted....that said come firearms season some around me will find this as justification to start slaughtering em no doubt.
This cold stretch of temps has been incredible for activity.
