So you're looking for a round-up type product? I use one called Prosecutor I like from a place called Site One. Or if you want to go the organic route, use straight vinegar, add dawn dish soap and a cup of salt per gal of vinegar. It will smoke everything. (Trust me I use a lot of chemicals to kill weeds)

^^^I use this approach around the house, on plots I've always used Gly at a pretty high percentage to gallon and added either the dawn or veg. oil to assist it in sticking. Only a select few plants/weeds have we found can resist the stuff and for those we typically pick up 2-4D or any other herbicide for select spot spraying applications.

I use Cornerstone®Plus (Glyphosate + surfactant) mixed at 3%, for woody vegitation.
Could probably go as low as 1.5% - 2 % on the less woody stuff.
It works quite well. I think it was around $40.00 at my local CO-OP for 2.5 gal. Wich makes around 80-100 gal mixed.

If you want to do a good burn down to kill everything, go with a cocktail of 41% Glysophate (Roundup), plus a dose of 2-4D in the same tank, mix things a little "hotter" than the recipe on container. Glysophate / Roundup is good stuff but it doesn't kill everything.

^^when I do bed weed sprays for my lawn customers I add triclopyr to my prosecutor (similar to 2-4d) because it is residual. However for a food plot residual is not recommended if you plant to seed right away. You can get a big 2.5 gal concentrate FarmWorks glyphosate from tractor supply for $31.99 a good mix rate for that product would be 3oz/gal of water. Spray at a rate of 2gpm and a 2.5gal container will make 106 gallons and cover 53k or 1.22 acres. I think any glyphosate will work for you just some better than others. I.e. mix rate and effectiveness by the way the mode of action for all grass killers is acidic burn and selective weed killers like 2-4d are not.

Are you wanting to kill off everything to replant or kill weeds that are in it ? What kind of plot is it ? The bell company is spot on & the crop oil is key for a good burn down .

Follow Label instructions for application. If you want to get a quick burn down, I'd mix in some Diquat with it, but I don't know if you can buy it at Rural King.
