How did you know park hunts were the week before the gun season even starts? Don't tell the guys you work with, but here is the secret to knowing when they park hunts will be. The LATE hunt is always the Monday and Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The EARLY hunt is two weeks prior to the late hunt. This works no matter when gun season starts. Idk, if it was a typo. But the dates listed on the results page are for a Tuesday/Wednesday. Unless I have looked wrong.

I got pulled for the late hunt at 'Tater Creek. IIRC they always ask for hunter safety ID number on the application.

Me and my buddy did not get drawn. We put in the both hunts at Versailles. This is the first time in 15 years that we have not got drawn for the state park hunts. Bummer! I think the new system has cut down on opportunities.

I was drawn for the first hunt at McCormick Creek. The last few years had always been drawn for the second hunt only.

Are park hunts now part of the online check-in process for all hunters and hunts?....in other words was your deer checked-in online at the park or how was it done. Thanks

Thanks Same process as a private land harvest. Just a seperate option for public land, state park. The park only sexes the deer now. Hunters responsibility to check in.
