If that picture is real, check out those bases. If he isn't an obviously young deer I'm putting him on the ground. That is a cool rack.
Maybe we should go to slot limit restrictions like some lakes do on fish. That might get us closer to nature's way of only the strongest and healthiest survive to perpetuate the herd.

I'm with Dave on that one. That would make one awesome mount.

Antler restrictions is just ridiculous to even think about. For starters it's nearly impossible for everyone to be100% accurate. And second it takes away personal preference and deciding on what makes you happy. Third it leaves the door wide open for lesser genes to be passed along.

Not even a second guess. Neat rack. Always looking for weird racks. To much given on "typical".

Not a fan of width restrictions if implementing APRs. 3 points on one side minimum would garner some yearling protections...but there are tons of yearlings that would even garner a shot then.

Dead. My question is what you guys think he scores. Not talking net here because not a huge fan of deductions. No, he doesn't have a spread but the mass and tine length are going to make up quite a bit of ground. I'd take him over a perfect 8 scoring same. Something about odd and non typical racks to me.

I really like different looking racks, and this one suits me fine. I'd be tickled pink to get him. I should have buck with tall vertical rack around this year. I saw his daddy a couple years ago.

Indiana he would go down. Kentucky has the 15" spread right? Who gets time to measure before they shoot?

Instead of rangefinder, now a rackmeasurer is required. Or one better, the new rangerackfindermeasurer (RRFM)all in one device.

IMO, it's a stupid rule....
I wonder how many deer have been left to rot because the hunter checked the width and found that it didn't make the minimum?
BTW, if the deer in the pic was legal where I was hunting, I'd do my best to take him as I like "character" racks like that.
