I have looked online and can't find the info on fishing below Rockville Lake. Is there a fishable spillway, do they allow fishing and what species are available in it. I live a out 90 mins away so I can't just drive by and look. Thanks

Raccoon lake is officially known as Cecil Harden Reservoir and is a DNR property located on HWY 36 East of Rockville in Parke county. It does have a fishable spillway with very good access and parking. Fish types include but not inclusive are as follows. Largemouth, smallmouth, striped, and white bass. Various catfish, crappie, and bluegill. Carp, drum and other rough fish. A rare walleye or two. Rockville lake is a much smaller municipal owned lake located about 2 miles north of the town of Rockville. It does have public access, the spillway is fishable but you have very little flow at times, I don't think many fish this spillway for good reason. The lake itself is known primarily for Largemouth and cats, not that big and probably not one you want to drive a great distance to fish.

Thanks If you are in Rockville lake area and want to fish a spillway fish raccoon lake Rockville lake spillway is a small stream I don't think it would be worth much fishing even if it was allowed unless you are into micro fishing
