So.... favorite work gloves? why? And how often do you wear them? What kind of work do you do in them?

...depends on the job.
At work, I loved my nitrile gloves. I sure do miss them, but can't afford them.
I have purchased some nitrile gloves from Menards with a spider on the box. These aren't bad, but...
For more aggressive work, I like something with a grip. We had some flex material, but with leather palms and man they were nice. We also had all leather gloves. One would think that I'd have a bundle or two around the house, but no ...that would be stealing and driving up the cost of your meds. I like you too much to do that to you.
Is there a show tune about work gloves?

Whatever fits my buddy Span870 is my favorite.
I have always hated wearing gloves. But in last 5 years I need to more and more. I found a style at Menard that was stretchy material on top and thin leather palms and were cheap.

I get a 3 pk of thin grey gloves with black rubber grips at walmart for around $3. I use them in the garage during the winter. They keep my hands from drying out. They are thin enough to still have good dexterity. If I have any heavy work to do I grab some leather gloves.

Leather gloves from TSC. $12 and last over a year. Wear them every day working around here. Mechanix camo gloves for hunting. Great trigger contact and control. Not good for real cold weather.

For farm work I always wear the very thin, tight fitting deerskin gloves from Rural King, run about $15-20 a pair and I go thru 3-4 pairs a year. Hunting, ice fishing and just to generally stay warm, I'm a fan of brown jersey gloves at about $1 per pair purchased in packs of a dozen.

Or you can just be a man and don't wear gloves, just saying.
