Not a whole lot of luck on the Ohio this weekend. Found some spotted bass and I had a >36" long-nose gar on for a second before he bit my swim bait in half!

We hit Monroe this morning a little before 10. Took about two hours for the bite to take off. Ended up keeping 11. I did catch a good flathead and a decent wiper. The flathead was a blast to catch.

Got 16 bass and bluegills this morning on a rooster tail. One of the best times to load up on fish for the winter. Water is cold and the fish taste great.

Two buddies and I skipped deer hunting Saturday morning an went crappie fishing instead. Had a real good bite in about 10' depths, cleaned 57 nice fall crappie and 2 channel cats.

13 big blue gills and red ears yesterday in less than foot of water in my pond. Caught on worms drifting under bobber.

Dad an I went to the other pond this morning. Slow start but ended up with a mess of bluegills and crappie. Clouds took over and wind picked up got a little chilly. Time to fillet some fish.

Anybody know if the sauger have started stacking up at the dam? Like to chase them if I knew they were there. Wade

One more time. Went out with a blakemore roadrunner and hammered some bass. Caught around 30 kept 10 for the fryer. This weeks weather may just shut it down for good. Got my deer packaged and put away today to boot. The girls even helped with vacuum sealing and grinding!

Way to warm to deer hunt. Going to try and restock some fish today for the freezer. Funny how peps come out of no where when you are frying fish. Used up several messes yesterday to feed everyone. Lol. Good time. Good luck to all hunting today.

Done well again today. We hit a lake we have never tried before. Was a long walk through the woods to get to it, absolutely plastered with wolf tracks.

BUDD; I got to ask,is that a perch in the rear center mixed in with the other perch. It as big as some of the walleye but it has orange fins.
BTW this sucks you guys catching premium quality fish while we standby and watch.
Congrats!

My son picked up a few gills yesterday. Walked in to a pond that he has never been to.

Warm weather means fish fry tomorrow afternoon. Saw nothing but turkeys this morning so traded muzzleloader for a fishing pole.
