Got to fish with my dad today. Caught 21 bass and one bluegill. Had minnows but the bass wanted a black rooster tail best. Water still fairly cold, one bass did have eggs. Trying to thin the bass population in lake. More for a fish fry😃

River is up a little high for bank fishing with the tackle I have. Keep telling myself I need to get a heavier weight rig and never get around to it.

Some of the best fishing I can remember was when the White was so high you couldn't fish River So my Granfather who lived a Williams would parke at Coverd Bridge and walk down to a small creek below the bridge walk up the creek to the muddy clean water line and tore them up Creek wasent 30 to 50wide normally Less than a foot deep but now 10 ft or so With a bobber 2 or 3 ft deep with nite crawlers Catfish, Drum BG, Crappie, both bassand one time a sturgeon Never knew what the next fish was going to be Your missing out nfallls

I got more fishing done in the 3 years I lived in Williams than all of the rest of my life combined. I just can't seem to make myself take the 20 minute drive over there more than once or twice a year now.

Headed to Kentucky lake for crappie real soon. Be going back to Barkley a time or two this year. Love those gills and huge redears.
