Anybody ever had one or heard of them? I'm buying one in a package deal with a Rem. 700 and it's cheap enough. So any experience or knowledge of one would be great!

I remember them back late 80s or early 90s. They were cutting edge then and top quality. Can't remember why they disappeared but it seems like there was a connection between them and Knight ML? Been awhile so memory is a little foggy.

I never owned one but from what I heard and read they were good guns in their day (and obviously still good now) but have been surpassed by more modern designs. These may be the guns that have a non-standard bore size, like 52 caliber instead of 50. If that's the case it may be harder to find bullets or sabots. The stuff is probably still out there if you look.

Yeah, Roger Raglin used to really promote these in his videos, and in their day they were pretty good. I had one, gave it to my nephew. By today's standards, they are nothing special. Mine was in line, used the old style "cap" rather than a shotgun primer and was rather difficult to get the cap in place. Breach plug was also very difficult to remove, making it tough to keep clean.
Ease of cleaning is huge with muzzle loaders, and for that reason I would not want another one of these. Guessing they have a conversion kit to switch primers?
