And once again I will not support legislators doing DNRs job. They continue to screw it up. Best comment yet.....But many could care less its called Getting what I want at any cost!...sad

Similar to my disdain for non-national security Executive Orders...there is a process of law which should happen. Could care less if I'm happy with the outcome or not.

And once again I will not support legislators doing DNRs job. They continue to screw it up. You have to give them credit -- at least they are making an attempt to clean up their mess. The DNR could have avoided all of this if they'd have had the guts to stand up to the NRC and pass the rifle proposal that they themselves wanted. If they hadn't wanted it, the proposal never would have advanced to the public comment stage. Just look at the latest baiting proposal to see evidence of it. The DNR pulled it without ever holding public meetings. (I'm glad of it too.)

I'm talking about the safety aspect of it, not the ethical aspect. Surely you can differentiate between the two. As for range, I know of a certain gentleman from Ripley County who killed a few deer over 300 yards this past season, with the two farthest kills being 529 and 615 yards. You want to know the kicker? He killed them all with a muzzleloader. Lol!
