Scrub- you could make a stock from some of that Osage. You got some skills! That curly osage would look amazing as a gun stock. Getting everything to fit correctly worries me.

These drawings could easily be switched to a flintlock, just need a different breech plug. For a short pistol it would be doable to inlet the barrel. Now I said doable, not easy. Another good book Recreating the American Longrifle by William Buchele, George Shumway, Peter Alexander. Our library had an older copy of it.
