Well I got a muzzle loader a year or so ago from my father in law (no real sentimental value on it as it wasn't his lifelong gun or anything just a cheapo he didn't really want). It was a CVA Appollo. It was in relatively rough shape. Some rust on the outside of the barrel and when I got it was completely disassembled.
I shot it on a few occasions. Not a bad gun by any means but nothing special.
I started searching for more info on it online and stumbled across a voluntary recall by CVA. My serial number was in it so contacted them and they said to send it in and give them 3 weeks to process it. Got a box this week and was interested to see if it was just a different version of the Appollo or not. I got a brand new CVA Wolf! Went from a percussion cap gun to a breakdown Shotgun primer. The Appollo was a 1995 version. Pretty excited about this.

From what I've heard and read, the Wolf is a pretty good rifle. Let us know how it shoots.

I bought a compact Wolf for my son. It's a good shooting gun.

It looks great and is certainly an upgrade from the old one. From what I understand the manual for the other one said it could use up to 150 grain of powder and I think even said triple 7. I guess the barrel material wasn't capable of using that much and the pressures created would end with the barrel blowing up.
