After having so much fun reworking my old 1914 Marlin model 29 pump I decided to go for the Henry pump in .22 Magnum. What a beauty! I haven't had a chance to shoot her yet. What have y'all found for good ammo in .22 Mag? Also, I'm looking for a scope. And, though it seems a bit cheap, I'm seeing good reviews on the Simmons 3-9x32, .22 Mag scope. Anybody have any experience with this scope...or possibly another recommendation?

I use that scope on my 10/22 was going to swap it out once and was looking for a scope for my old ar at the time and a lot of people were saying they liked the .22 mag for varmint hunting and I thought well I'll just keep this on the ruger and I've killed plenty of critters and have beat the crap out of scope and gun. Only time I've ever had issues with zero seem to be from my rings it would probably stop doing I if I put loctite on the screws but..... I have a sense of adventure so I just wait till the scope starts rattling and tighten up. I love the quick adjust knobs on the scope also when coon hunting I can toss laser bore sighter in and confirm zero in a few seconds and adjust easily if needed
