Maybe add a long or lifetime ban on hunting in case it was there and I didn't read it. Pretty simple. Read the rules and obey them. There are no questionable areas. Wade

I said No, should be more...because it makes it seem like once fine is paid hunting priviledges return...not a fan of that. Should be a 5 year or 10 year time frame.

How much would a fine be for an antlerless deer, make it a high fine and suspension for all illegal gotten game.

It should probably be more, but it also depends. This is minor compared to some other things I know of that's happened and the guy got away with not much done to him.

Fines should be equal no matter what the size or gender.

Same for any deer. Most cases it's a $500 fine and loss of hunting privliges for a year. Add to that court costs and in some cases loss of weapon or additional charges.

It should be a lot more. Based on the thread on this site a few weeks ago, an incredible amount of poaching takes place. Poachers are not deterred.

Each state sets their own fines for wrongdoing. Alaska can cost one $10,000 per animal. In some counties in Indiana the fines can be as little as $50. And some charges get dropped if a case is already pending, or the punishment for the second poaching case in two years nets a smaller penalty the second time around.
WE NEED MANDATORY PUNISHMENTS! We need them for all crimes, but a perfect place to start is with wildlife violations. It appears that the judges and prosecutors in this state don't take wildlife violations seriously. Maybe it is because they are not closely connected to the outdoor world, maybe it's something else, but it needs to end.
